Courage Connection gives shelter to individuals or families fleeing domestic violence. Our facilities are bright, newly updated, and accessible. We provide a safe space for individuals to use our programs and services. Our goal is for those affected by domestic violence to gain confidence and become empowered while preparing for their next steps.

What you can expect while staying at Courage Connection:

  • Confidentiality: The residential shelter program makes everyone’s safety its priority. No client information is shared with other agencies without written consent. Residents are asked to honor the privacy of other clients by not discussing their names or situations with anyone else—everyone associated with the shelter signs a confidentiality agreement.
  • Communal living setting: Residents share the kitchen, common living areas, bathrooms, and bedrooms.
  • Child and family services: Children are also impacted by domestic violence. We work with both parents and children, offering support, information, and parenting resources.
  • Domestic violence education: Our services include counseling, case management, personalized safety plans, housing assistance, and more.
  • Laundry facilities: The residential shelter program has laundry facilities and will provide clients with linens (sheets, towels, and blankets).
