Outreach Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Development and Outreach

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Courage Connection believes that every member of our community deserves the education, resources and support to live in safe, healthy relationships. We are seeking an Outreach Coordinator who is as passionate and enthusiastic about our mission as we are. Under the supervision of the Director of Development & Outreach, that primary responsibility of this position is educating the public by cultivating relationships and adhering to our marketing, branding and public education standards and practices. The Outreach Coordinator will implement outreach strategies through in-person engagement and educate on the effects of domestic violence. In addition, this position is responsible for the management of the organization’s website and social media channels. This position will assist in the planning and facilitation of community outreach events that support the mission and vision of the agency. Some nights and weekends will be required.
· Facilitate community and public education trainings as assigned by supervisor
· Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, youth prevention training and other education opportunities
· Create social media content, such as videos, photos and written posts that reflect our mission and values of the organization
· Create marketing collateral, including flyers, brochures, pamphlets, and press releases
· Assist in the marketing needs of other departments throughout the agency
· Maintain compliance with all agency policies and procedures, including client and agency confidential standards
· Be a champion for the agency, clients and staff at all times
· Attend all meetings and complete all forms and reports required by direct supervisor, funders, Executive Director or the Board
· Carry out all other assigned or necessary tasks to ensure organizational standards
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
Minimum of one-year relevant experience (internships or volunteer work) with computer proficiency, content development and social media platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff, and community partners.
· Passion for advocacy, community outreach, social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management
· Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook)
· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service
· Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
· Bachelor’s degree in related relevant field

Residential Services Manager
Reports to: Director of Programs
Full-time, 40 hours
Exempt/Salaried : $60,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and management to Courage Connection’s Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing Programs for domestic violence survivors which are staffed and operated 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Provide oversight to Client Advocates and Children’s Case Manager. Ensure the programs provide survivor-centered and quality services. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, grant and funding requirements.
· Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate staff according to funding requirements and staff development goals. Ensure focus on client advocacy and excellence in service provision and documentation.
· Evaluate programs and services to ensure that clients' needs and funder requirements are being met, including implementing ongoing processes for program evaluation.
· Create and manage Client Advocate schedules.
· Ensure all Client Advocate shifts are covered and the flexibility to cover shifts as needed.
· Review and approve direct reports, timesheets and time off requests.
· Responsible for the oversight and upkeep of shelter offices.
· Ensure that eligibility and services are provided appropriately.
· Provide direct service to clients as needed.
· Adhere to all of Courage Connection’s documentation standards and ensure timely documentation and compliance.
· Engage in activities to increase public awareness and education related to the issues of domestic violence.
· Be a champion for the agency, clients and staff at all times.
· Maintain compliance with all agency policies and procedures.
· Attend all meetings and complete all forms and reports required by direct supervisor, funders, Executive Director, or the Board.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· Minimum of two years of experience in social services, supervisory, administrative and team development experience.
· Experience supervising, hiring, mentoring, and training employees.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff and community partners.
· Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence and focus on providing survivor-centered services.
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
· Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook).
· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service.
· Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
· High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Client Advocate
Reports to: Client Advocate Manager, Shelter Operations Manager
Part-time
Nonexempt / Hourly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide excellent and consistent supportive services to residential clients. Manage a client caseload with a focus on advocacy and empowerment. Responsible for helping the Residential Services Manager ensure all shifts are fully covered. Responsible for covering the agency phone or hotline during scheduled shifts. Adhere to agency policies as well as funder and grant requirements.
- Cover the agency phone or hotline, be flexible to ensure that the phones are always covered
- Provide supportive services on a weekly basis (more often if needed) to clients in the form of advocacy, counseling, budgeting and housing assistance, safety planning and short and long-range goal planning
- Document all client meetings and groups, maintain client files to meet agency and funder requirements, provide appropriate support to other clients as needed
- • Coordinate service and safety plans with other direct staff
