2018 Adopt A Family
Every day, individuals and parents with children turn to Courage Connection for safety and support. This holiday season is no different. The holidays can be a very difficult time for individuals and their children living within our support services.
Although registration for our “Adopt a Family” project for Courage Connection clients or families has already closed, we graciously continue to accept gifts for our residents who do not have the resources for such luxuries. Adopt a Family is not just about shopping for gifts, it’s also about giving joy and peace during a difficult time of year.
Because our shelter population does often change, a gift card to grocery or big box store is always most appreciated. Everyday items such as new bed pillows, new bath towels, gloves and hats are welcome. Warm socks can bring a huge smile to a child or adult at this time of year.
Donations can be dropped off during Purple Hat Day on Friday, December 7 at First State Bank at Neil and Windsor from 4-7pm.Your donations can also be dropped off at our resale store, Connections located in Lincoln Square, Urbana during normal business hours.
